We’re paying homage to Víctor Jara, a legendary Chilean folk singer. He was one of the pioneers of the nueva canción genre of politically charged popular songs, as well as a teacher, theatre director, poet and singer-songwriter. Singer-songwriter, Nano Stern, is a Chilean artist riding the crest of the new wave of Chilean Song, and has become a reference of contemporary songwriting in South America. His musical virtuosity, mesmerising and charismatic live performances and his passionate and poetic advocacy for social justice result in a true and honest universal message. Delivered with intense energy and exquisite musicality, he dwells deeply into tradition whilst being contemporary with the passion of youth.
