Chile 50 years Collaborative textile workshop.

Key themes: Solidarity, memory and global refugee stories through art.

Join artist Jimena Pardo, from group Bordando por la Memoria to mark 50 years since the overthrown Government of Salvador Allende in Chile. We will be working on a collaborative textile. The workshop is open to anyone from the Chilean exile community, those with a connection to the Solidarity movements that supported Chile, or anyone with refugee experience and stories from other countries.

The workshop will also be an opportunity to view the Documenting Chile archive at UEL.
